Today we had the great privilege of facilitating a workshop for local environmental groups who wanted to start or improve their social media presence in preparation for Earth Day. Hosted by the Ridge Meadows Recycling Society, the workshop covered the concept of why organizations would want to engage with their supporters and followers online, and then gave them tips and tricks for Twitter and Facebook.

Apologies for the less than stellar photos – we decided to take a few photos during the workshop and only had camera phones at the ready! (Now we know for next time!)
