Main Street Communications Ltd. is a strategic planning and communications firm based in Greater Vancouver, Canada. In 2013 Main Street was shortlisted by Small Business BC as one of the Top 5 Online Marketers in the province and founder Vicki McLeod was an RBC Women of Influence nominee as a Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for 2014 & 2015. She was honoured as 2014 Business Leader of the Year in Main Street’s home community of Maple Ridge B.C., Canada.
Vicki McLeod founded Main Street in 1994. Ian McLeod joined the company as a partner in 2000. Main Street offers expertise in organizational planning and leadership development, facilitation, and public consultation. We develop and execute strategic communications and marketing plans. delivering print and digital collateral materials such as newsletters, ad buys, corporate profiles and website content as well as crafting social media strategies and content.
Past projects include the Golden Ears Bridge, the Maple Ridge Town Centre Redevelopment, the Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addiction and the Prospera Centre in Chilliwack.

Vicki’s partner since 2000, Ian is a former journalist in Canadian politics and business. He began communications consulting in the late 1980s, and was a director of communications with the BC government for five years. He survived.
Following a four-year stint at Edelman Vancouver and a two-year writing sabbatical, Ian continued working with Main Street in multi-level stakeholder consultations and acts as a business development advisor and consultant. In late 2012 he returned to Edelman Vancouver as Vice-President, Corporate Affairs. We were delighted to welcome him back to Main Street full-time in January 2016. Vicki McLeod is a consultant, personal and business coach, trainer and writer. In the past two years she has trained and mentored more than 130 businesses province-wide in marketing, branding and how to consciously use digital and social media strategies. She designs and delivers leadership development and change management strategies for civic, health care, and education leaders and organizations. She has held management positions in the arts, environmental and economic development sectors. She has an international certification in Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching. Lori is a marketing and branding specialist who has worked with Main Street for more than a decade. She has worked with numerous clients in the not-for-profit, and municipal government sectors, and the real estate and development industry. She as held portfolios in tourism, health care, and regional economic development.
Lori was the principal in Six Degrees Marketing, and is one of the founding Social Chicks, helping businesses and organizations build relationships online and off. At Main Street she offers expertise in digital and social strategies, strategic marketing plans and implementation, facilitation, and business training.
Lorene works diligently in the background taking care of some of the admin functions that make us tick, and she works enthusiastically in the foreground as Chief Kitchenette, keeping the home fires burning on the Dishing in the Kitchen blog and helping us manage community events and volunteer activities.
She's our McGyver - give her a problem and she'll serve you a solution, with a parsley garnish. Plus, together with her musician and audio tech hubby Greg, she runs Grene Genes Studios, producers of the Everyday Happiness podcasts. Did we mention, she's also a fine actor and voice-over artist?
